APGA sets agenda for development of Gwagwalada
The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has given indication that it would promote socio-economic development of Gwagwalada within the first tenure of its administration.
The chairman-elect, Hon. Adamu Mustapha, made the assertion in a chat with The Abuja Inquirer shortly after he was presented with the certificate of return at the International Conference Center, Abuja.
He assured residents of Gwagwalada and environs that he would introduce an inclusive government that would accommodate different tribes in view of the support he got from various ethnic groups that led to his victory.
The chairman-elect enjoined people of Gwagwalada to give the incoming government the necessary support and cooperation, promising that they would not regret the mandate given to him.
He reiterated his commitment to give priority to human and infrastructural development and assured traditional rulers that his government would accord them the highest respect and they would be carried along so as to be contributing their quota to the development, peace and security initiatives of the administration.
While responding to the intention of the APC to challenge his victory at the tribunal, Mustahpa described the move as empty threat, noting that the APC should rather forget such adventure as it would amount to nothing.
He expressed optimism that going by the results of the elections, there was nothing to challenge in the court of law.
