The LEA scribe commended teachers for dedicating themselves to their duties, even as he tasked the council leadership to complement the efforts of the Universal Basic Education Board, UBEB, towards providing enough instructional materials in both junior and primary schools.

He enumerated achievements recorded by the education authority to include tackling the menace of child labour, teenage pregnancy and school dropouts, noting that progress has been achieved in the enrolment of the girl-child.
