Traders deny relocation of Gwagwalada timber market

Traders under the auspices of Gwagwalada Main Timber Dealers Association have denied the relocation rumour of the market along Kuje Road to an undisclosed location.
Speaking to The Abuja Inquirer on the development, chairman of the association, Mr. Ifeanyi Ichakpa, said the Gwagwalada area council is executing a project under public private partnership to upgrade the premises of Gwagwalada international timber shade market to standard.
He enjoined customers to patronize the market as businesses are ongoing daily, adding that traders will continue to transact their business there until the completion of the ongoing renovation.
The chairman appealed to the construction company to provide social amenities for the benefit of both traders and customers, noting that the association would continue to provide adequate security.
