Police, school proprietors brainstorm on kidnapping in Zuba

The Divisional Police Officer, DPO of Zuba, CSP Wilson Dankwano, has met with school proprietors in Zuba aimed at tackling the recent cases of missing children in the area.  

Dankwano in the meeting tasked the proprietors to be discharging their responsibilities to include custodians of the children as well educationists and reiterated the commitment of the command to combat any form of crime that may crop up in the area.  

The DPO noted that the police would be collaborating with stakeholders for peaceful coexistence , protection of lives and property even as he implored the residents to always provide useful information to the police at all the time.  

The Zuba police head tasked traditional rulers and community leaders to preach peace as well as encourage people to be security conscious by reporting suspicious individual seeing moving around in their surroundings to the police to take necessary actions.  

He also assured the residents that the police would respond to distress call day and night with a view to giving the residents confidence to transact their business without fear of molestation and harassment from any quarter, adding that crime fighting and control is a collective responsibility.  

Dankwano tasked parents in the area to be monitoring the movement of their children, just as he called on the proprietors to ensure that the children leave the school’s premises in the company of their parents or guardians.
