FRSC calls for ten lane expansion of Nyanya road

The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has made a passionate appeal to the FCT administration to make ten lane expansion of the Nyanya/Mararraba road with a view to bring to an end to the incessant traffic snarl along the road.

Unit commanding officer in-charge the area, Mr. Michael Aringeagu, made the call in a chat with The Abuja Inquirer during the just concluded Sallah special patrol.

He tasked the motoring public to develop positive driving culture with a view to reaching their destination safely.

The Assistant Corps Commander, ACC, noted that the command has intensified patrol to tackle acts capable of causing traffic gridlock in the Nyanya axis just as he warned traders to shun displaying goods along the road.

The UC enjoined highly placed individuals in the society to cultivate the habit of obeying traffic rules and regulations to prevent avoidable accident just as he warned against indiscriminate parking on both sides of the road.

The road safety officer reiterated the commitment of his unit to continue to hold advocacy campaigns with a view to educating commercial motorists on the danger associated with route violations.
