Bello reappoints Hamza as provost COE Zuba

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Malam Mohammad Bello, has approved the re-appointment of Dr. Mohammed Hamza as the provost of the FCT College of Education, Zuba. 

The reappointment was contained in a press statement issued by the Assistant Director in charge of Information in the Education Secretariat, Mr. Anthony Ogunleye, and made available to our correspondent. 

The statement revealed that Hamza had served a first term from 2014 to 2018. 

In his letter of appointment signed by the Director of Human Resource Management of the FCTA, Hajia Amina Abubakar, it was stated that the renewal of his appointment was in recognition of his hard work, diligence and professional competence, while admonishing him to continue to exhibit a high sense of responsibility in the discharge of his duties. 

Hamza who possesses a Doctorate Degree in Arabic Education joined the services of the FCT College of Education in 2001 as a Chief Lecturer. 

He served in many capacities in the College including pioneer Dean of the Schools of Arts and Social Sciences and school of languages, Director of Remedial studies, Director, Consultancy Services and Director, Continuing Education.   

The statement added that Hamza's major priority second tenure in office is the movement of the College to its permanent site.
