Bwari council chair appeals for more FERMA intervention

The chairman, Bwari area council, Dr. Musa Dikko, has solicited for the rehabilitation of more roads in the council by the Federal Roads Management Authority, FERMA.

Dikko made this known, recently, when he visited the MD/CEO of FERMA, Engr. Nuruddeen Rafindadi, in his office in Abuja.

He solicited for the help of FERMA to work on the shoulder of the road around Dutse axis, especially the market area to allow for free flow of traffic.

The council boss also appealed to FERMA to consider repairs on the old road around Ushafa village that is a shorter route to connect Kaduna.

He added that the rehabilitation of the road will help the council in its internal revenue generation and also showcase the tourist potential of Ushafa village.

The FERMA MD in his response appreciated the chairman for seeking closer working relationship, adding that FERMA has a close cooperation with the Federal Capital Territory Administration on roads, therefore, will look into the chairman’s request.

Rafindadi also expressed the willingness to seek for land in Bwari area council for FERMA staff housing.
