Mulade promises ‘permanent peace’ in Warri south west

An assembly aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Warri South West constituency, Delta State has promised to enthrone peace, friendship and harmony amongst all the tribes in the area.

Comrade Sheriff Mulade, international co-coordinator of Centre for Peace and Environmental Justice, CEPEJ, stated that this was essential for the development and growth of the area.

Interacting with journalists at the PDP secretariat Asaba, he maintained that he is going to retain a permanent solution to the Ijaw/ Itsekiri ethnic crises, explaining that being abreast of the terrain of the Warri South West, he will win the confidence of the people to bury the age long hatchet.

He commended a former governor of the state, Chief James Ibori, for his effort in ending the Warri crises.
