PDP flagbearer in G/lada promises scholarship scheme

Flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Gwagwalada area council, Alh. Mohammed Ibrahim, has said that when elected he would introduce scholarship scheme in the council for the benefit of students. 

He made this known to newsmen when he picked the party ticket to represent PDP in the forthcoming FCT area council’s elections, noting that he would defeat the incumbent chairman of the council come Match 2, 2019. 

Ibrahim said that he would execute meaningful projects that have direct bearing on the electorate to include construction of feeder roads, drilling of boreholes as well as rural and water supply to various communities in Gwagwalada and its environs. 

The PDP candidate reiterated commitment to clear the huge refuse dumps in strategic locations in Gwagwalada town, even as he frowned at the poor condition of sanitation in the area. 

The flagbearer solicits for the support and cooperation of all members and loyalists of the party in the area to enable the party win the election with landslide victory, just as he expressed readiness to work together with the six aspirants who step down for him to became the consensus candidate. 

He appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to be a neutral electoral umpire to all political parties as well as to conduct credible elections that would be acceptable to the electorate.
