Badeh, now the Epiphany

Immediate past Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh may have come to his epiphany that times changes all things.

Badeh and 14 other military chiefs are under the radar of the EFCC and the way things are, the noose gets tighter by the day.

Last week, his homes were sealed off by the anti-graft agency, while small boys of yesterday hound him around.

A few months ago, Badeh was at the apogee of military power; driven round with fierce looking bodyguards totting sub-automatic machine guns. But all those have changed.

It was alleged that Badeh’s mouth was full of yams meant for weapons purchase. There is little doubt that the yams will now taste like gravels as the government insists he vomits them.

For a man with so much privilege and perks, why did he bow to the idol of taking more than the owners of the house? Now, he answers to this as reality dawns.
