PDP chieftain hails Supreme Court on Okowa

A Peoples Democratic Party chieftain in Delta State has hailed the Supreme Court judgement upholding the election of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

Hon. Karitimi Oluwole speaking with journalists on the judgment stated that the judiciary has once again affirmed its honour in the enthronement and strengthening of democracy in the country.

He maintained that the judgment is without blemish as “Delta is purely a PDP state.”

Oluwole, who is the chairman of Bomadi Local government Council, highlighted that the party has endeared itself to Deltans owing to the giants’ strides made by the party in the state since 1999.

He called on Deltans to give the necessary support to Okowa to enable him deliver more dividends of democracy, while urging the governor to sustain his efforts of bringing even development to all sectors of the state.

He advised the APC and Labour Party for support the state government to enhance development in the state.
