Aliyu condoles Kogi over inferno






FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Aliyu, has commiserated with the government and people of Kogi state over the tanker explosion that claimed the lives of 30 people, most of whom are school children.  




The minister who expressed shock over the untimely death of the victims especially the school children, expressed her


"deepest sympathies to the Government and people of Kogi State especially the families of the victims of the inferno.




Aliyu in a statement by her Special Assistant on Media, Austine Elemue, described the tanker explosion as tragic, while calling on the state to pray for the souls of the departed.




"I pray that this difficult time, the love of God will continue to protect our people," she said.




The Minister also called on the people especially students of the Polytechnic to remain calm and peaceful, stressing that the Government is aware of the gravity of the situation.
