And favour found Jumoke
Olajumoke Orisaguna’s fairy tale change of fortune aptly captures the song of the Psalmist in 102:13.
The psalmist sang, “Thou shalt arise, [and] have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.”
It was the set time for the bread seller to arise, for favour to locate her and it did in a very dramatic fashion.
Jumoke photo bombed a shoot by iconic photographer, T.Y Bello, and since then her story has changed; her levels has become mega.
The story of Jumoke, a single mother of two, is a compelling read. With just passable English, a single photo has transformed her life and given meaning to what it means that ‘the set time, is come.”
What her story exemplifies is that it is not how hard a man labours, but how much of God’s grace one has in his or her life.
If anybody had told Jumoke that her life would change that evening, that she would go round the world just be virtue of a single photo, she would certainly have laughed her head off.
But since God’s ways are not man’s ways, Jumoke’s was at the right place at the right time and like they say, her head now drips with fortune made in heaven.
May thy name be Olajumoke, which translates to mean, everybody has a role to preserve this gift!
