Helpline Foundation has disclosed plans to engage widows in agriculture, as part of the foundation’s empowerment and self-sufficiency program.

Founder of the foundation, Jumai Ahmadu, disclosed this during the routine presentation of several household items, including food and clothing to widows in Abuja in the Valentine spirit.

She said the foundation is working towards acquiring farming locations where the widows can work for themselves and empower their families.

She also called on wealthy Nigerians to show material commitments towards empowering the downtrodden especially those in their immediate environment.
