The fall of the naira has tremendously affected the price of goods and services lately. It has caused inflation beyond measure and greatly inconvenienced the masses, especially the common man.

Several persons have tried to either justify or criticize the so-called change that everyone once clamoured for but has become a pain in the neck.

I understand that the present government is trying to promote Nigerian made products and services but the monster called corruption is still living in the blood stream of importers and the people in charge of finance who want to use the good intentions to exploit the masses.

As for the president, these are part of administrative challenges but what is the government doing to save the day? Where is their empathy when a measure of rice has risen to about N450?

The rumoured devaluation of the naira needs to be checked and stopped as citizens are not comfortable with the high cost of living.
