PAUL ALIBOH

It is no longer news that politicians make promises and fail to keep them. On the issue of President Buhari’s promises, it is not peculiar to his administration alone.

We are used to it. For me, the idea of giving unemployed youths N5,000 monthly stipend is actually ridiculous and can only be a campaign strategy to win more votes as he eventually got.

Let me say we must hold him accountable. Even if he cannot deliver on his promises, he must find a way to engage the teeming unemployed youths and make unemployment a thing of the past.
