Before now, I complained that my monthly bill of over six thousand was too much. Now, it is over ten thousand naira for a two bedroom flat.

Bear in mind that I don’t have AC and I’m living alone. I come back home around 7pm from work. Sometimes I don’t get to use electricity for up to five hours a day.

I have no electric cooker. I only have a TV, home theatre, one pressing iron, decoder, microwave, small fridge and standing fan.

I stopped paying the six thousand at some point, now it’s ten thousand. They must be joking. This is extortion!
